Anoka Halloween Amazing Race
Registration – 8:30 am  |  Race Begins – 9:00 am

Registration Fee: $50/team of 2 (Includes t-shirt that must be worn durning race)
The Anoka Halloween Amazing Race is a competition between 15 teams of 2 people. The teams will race throughout the city of Anoka, participating in several events or challenges. As each event/challenge is completed, the teams will get clues or instructions for their next event/challenge. Challenges may be physical, mental or both.  Teams may need to walk and/or run, up to a total of 4 miles during the entire race. 2013 is the inaugural year for this brand new Anoka Halloween event, be one of the first to compete in this challenging event!

Halloween Fun at the Library
11:00 am – 12:00 pm | Rum River Library | FREE
Free. Stories, songs and surprises are followed by an indoor costume parade through the library. Costumes are optional. Bring your cameras!

Pumpkin Carving Contest

Light Up the Night Parade

Lights are out on Main Street for this event, watch all of the exciting floats in lights!

Fired Up For Fun Bonfire
8 pm-10 pm  |  River Plaza, formally City Hall | FREE
FREE family fun. Food vendors open at 4pm, before the Night Parade and stay through the bonfire. The bonfire starts as soon as the parade ends. Special attraction! Ghost Busters will be present! Music!

Gray Ghost 5K Run & One Mile Fitness Walk
The Halloween Gray Ghost 5K Run & 1 Mile Walk is held the last Saturday in October and is sponsored by Anoka Business & Landowners Association, Wells Fargo & North Suburban Striders.

Registration: 10:00am at Franklin Elementary School, West Main Street, Anoka.
Start Time: 12:50pm
Registration Fee:  $20 in advance or $25 that day.
